| Join us for a fundraising event like no other!!! Our inaugural Social Media-A-Thon will be the official kick off of our drive to get 2000 donors to support the "It Takes A Village, To Save A Village" Scholarship Program. Our Concept: If we can get 2000 people to pledge JUST $20 per year, for 5 years, we send a young black youth to a four-year college and support them through graduation. You can join us virtually as we'll use Facebook/ Twitter/ LinkedIN/ BBM/ Gmail/ Yahoo/ AOL/etc... to get the word out! But if you're in the Newark, NJ area, stop by The Spot Bar and Lounge (Campaign Headquarters) to grab a bite to eat, support our vendors, volunteer to reach out to your social network or get your party on!!!! Help us celebrate the day that we stop waiting for others to do for our community that which we can do for ourselves. |
Here's How You Can Participate In This Phenomenal Event
- Become A Village Member and make your pledge and initial donation today. Remember all we're asking for is $20 per year for 5 years. (But you can do more if you like) DONATE NOW
- Volunteer to be one of our Social Media-A-Thon Ambassadors on Dec. 30th. You can do this virtually or come to our campaign headquarters (The Spot) and soak up some of the energy! You will need to bring your laptop, but we'll provide everything else... including food! BONUS For every person you get to donate, you will get a chance to win some FABULOUS prizes that day! - Stop by our Campaign Headquarters. Come hang with us from 12pm -8pm on December 30th at The Spot in Newark, NJ. Come out to donate to our foundation on site and you can enjoy some delicious food from our gracious host and support our vendors as they will donate a portion of their proceeds to our foundation!
- Shop with our Supporting Vendors. On December 30th, we will publish a list of businesses who have agreed to donate a portion of their revenue that day from people who reference the Together AsOne Foundation. This supports our underlying idea of keeping dollars in our community. - Come Celebrate with us!!! You won't want to miss our celebration at The Spot from 8pm - 2am.
